Noord-Holland, Amsterdam - (The Hosting News) - November 18, 2008 - Web hosting provider, LeaseWeb, in order to facilitate the exponential growth in bandwidth demand from existing and new clients, has more than doubled the capacity of its hosting network, from 210 Gbps to 500 Gbps, or half a Terabit.

Pieter Dijkhuis, Finance Director of LeaseWeb says, ''Our client database has expanded to approximately 10,000 this year. We are pleased with the trust that our clients have given us. Doubling the number of clients was also a logical step for us. Until last year, we primarily focused on developing a stable structure for our hosting network and our support organization. The current structure of our organization allows us to easily facilitate further growth. Growth is a key requirement for LeaseWeb to be able to maintain competitive prices and an attractive price-quality ratio.''

LeaseWeb expanded its capacity to 500 Gbps by purchasing additional port capacity from telecom carriers (transit) and Internet exchanges (peering). Since June 2008, actual bandwidth usage by LeaseWeb's clients has increased from 100 to 240 Gigabits per second (Gbps).

The available capacity of 500 Gbps is intentionally twice the actual use of bandwidth because of LeaseWeb's ongoing commitment to providing quickly scalable hosting solutions.

Mr. Dijkhuis explained, ''Bandwidth availability is a key requirement for many clients to be able to expand their Web environment. This is equally important as the available datacenter space and inventories of network and server equipment. Our proposition is designed to meet those requirements. We have ample space available in our CO2-neutral EvoSwitch datacenter, among other facilities, and we maintain large inventories of equipment for clients such as HP, Dell and Cisco.''

LeaseWeb's hosting network bandwidth capacity of half a Terabit is exceptional. Bastiaan Spandaw, network architect at LeaseWeb confirmed, ''I know of virtually no other hosting providers in Europe that have this amount of bandwidth in their networks. LeaseWeb is one of the few hosting providers in Europe that have this much bandwidth available.''

The total capacity of LeaseWeb's hosting network was already increased from 160 to 210 Gbps in late May 2008. And now another 290 Gbps have been added.

Mr. Spandaw added, ''The extremely rapid growth of the past few months is not that surprising. If you have ample bandwidth capacity, you are bound to attract clients that use much bandwidth. And this makes our network grow even faster.''

Mr. Dijkhuis added, ''October in particular showed a rapid increase in new clients and bandwidth usage. In that respect, October was definitely not a recession month for us. We expect continued strong growth going forward.''

The strong growth of LeaseWeb's network is due to existing and new bulk users of bandwidth. These are clients who distribute their streaming audio and video data through the LeaseWeb network, such as 123Video.nl (www.123video.nl), the Danish company Octoshape (www.octoshape.com), product comparison site Twenga (www.twenga.com), Garage TV from Belgium (www.garagetv.be), Turkish media giant Haber7 (www.haber7.com), and the German broadcasting company WIGE Media AG.

LeaseWeb is an international provider of hosting solutions that is primarily geared towards the professional market. The company is among the top-20 hosting providers worldwide and its services include collocation, dedicated servers, webhosting, server virtualization, streaming, and domain name registration. LeaseWeb is the proprietor of a first-class network that offers a bandwidth of more than 210 Gbps, spanning four datacenters in the Amsterdam region. LeaseWeb is also present via Internet exchanges in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Frankfurt, New York, Vienna, Stockholm, Warsaw, Zurich, Prague and Madrid.

Server software provider, Wowza Media Systems, has made available its Media Server Pro Subscription Edition, featuring friction-free monthly subscription licensing for its industrial-strength solution.

San Jose, California - (The Hosting News) - November 18, 2008 - Server software provider, Wowza Media Systems, has made available its Media Server Pro Subscription Edition, featuring friction-free monthly subscription licensing for its industrial-strength solution.

The media server is designed to make it both ''painless'' and cost-effective for any CDN, streaming service or hosting provider to offer lucrative Flash media streaming services to customers.

Phil Koblence, VP, Operations, New York Internet, a Data Center services firm remarked, ''We chose Wowza Pro Subscription Edition because it enabled us to increase our capacity in nearly real time and offer clients the ability to host their streaming solutions without a large initial licensing fee. Additionally, this new model allows us to benefit from Wowza's superb software and efficiently roll it into our existing hosting offerings.''

Wowza Media Server Pro, recently declared the #1 media server choice by the readers of Streaming Media Magazine, now counts more than 14,000 global licensees worldwide, including a rapidly growing number of service providers such as T-Systems (Deutsche Telecom), Interoute, Avacast, SimpleCDN, StreamUK, Nacamar, and StreamZilla, among others.

Wowza Media Server Pro Subscription Edition offers service providers the most full-featured version of Wowza Pro and a risk-free, flexible model for managing their licensing costs according to their customers' streaming demands.

Key Benefits include:
- No upfront financial commitment
- No long-term contracts
- No minimum number of server instances
- No per-GB fees - just low fixed per-server monthly fee that declines in volume
- No cost for future software upgrades
- Flexible capacity and cost management - add/delete servers as needed and only pay for servers used

In a recent daily briefing, Jim Davis, Senior Analyst, Tier1 Research, wrote that Wowza's subscription model ''is going to help streaming service providers and hosting companies by enabling them to keep a lid on capital expenditures. They can pass these cost savings on, enabling them to compete for customers that might not otherwise bother to buy CDN services.''

Other Wowza Pro licensees offer similar perspectives:

Michael Terretta, CEO, Advection.NET, a global CDN added, ''When serving media clients in broadcast and entertainment, it is imperative for a CDN to have flexible licensing for media server infrastructure that lets us adapt to clients' needs in an economical, competitive and growth-oriented way without taking an up-front hit to the bottom line. Wowza's friction-free licensing model along with Wowza Pro's industrial strength performance and functionality gives us precisely that.''

Troy Leaver, Systems Administrator, Mediaserve, a family-owned hosting provider noted, ''Having served our customers with Windows Media streaming services for several years, as Flash streaming grew ever more popular, we knew we were going to have to look into providing Flash streaming. We chose Wowza Media Server Pro based on features and reputation, but it was Wowza's approachable subscription licensing that made it possible for us to roll out Flash streaming services.''

Brad Mitchell, CEO, MojoHost, offering first-class hosting solutions since 1999 remarked, ''Our decision to make Wowza Pro our streaming platform of choice has allowed us to deliver robust, highly scalable Flash streaming to the global marketplace. Wowza's subscription licensing enables us to deliver services at a price that lets our customers of all sizes achieve a substantial return on their investment.''

Wowza's friction-free philosophy extends beyond just offering its customers irresistible economics. The full-featured Wowza Pro Subscription Edition includes exclusive functionality that enables service providers to offer Flash services that eliminate friction for their customers as well.

Wowza Pro's exclusive SHOUTcast-to-Flash streaming capability is a no-barrier way to offer services to Web radio netcasters who wish to reach larger audiences without having to invest in Flash-compatible technologies.

Frank Wilson, Chief Engineer, SimpleCDN, a premier CDN provider commented, ''SimpleCDN chose Wowza Pro Subscription Edition, because it allows us to instantly scale our server infrastructure, without the need to constantly track licensing agreements. Overall the choice to go with Wowza vs. FMIS/FMSS was easy - Wowza allows us to fully utilize our 64-bit infrastructure, adds valuable features such as RTP, RTSP and MPEG-TS support, not to mention its rich Java plug-in capabilities. Wowza was a perfect fit for us, allowing SimpleCDN to provide the exact services our customers were looking for.''

By offering numerous free tools, such as the Centralized Management Utility, a Live Stream Monitoring Tool, and a fully Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Wowza also reduces friction for creating, operating and growing services efficiently.

Available immediately, Wowza Media Server Pro Subscription Edition starts at $65/month for the first Wowza Media Server Pro server instance and lower pricing for subsequent instances.

Wowza Media Systems is a software company solely focused on making industrial-strength media servers. With the February 2007 introduction of its award-winning product, Wowza Media Server Pro, Wowza has taken a leadership position in redefining Flash streaming. Wowza has not only radically changed Flash streaming economics, it has also revolutionized online media by introducing innovative and exclusive capabilities that make live, on-demand, and interactive Flash media streaming feasible for a broad range of customers. Deployed by thousands of global licensees in entertainment, social media, advertising, enterprise, education, government, and Internet commerce, Wowza customers include such well-known companies as Sun Microsystems, Interoute, RAINet, Astral Media, and T-Systems.
Miami, Florida - (The Hosting News) - November 14, 2008 - Integrated Tier-1 Internet exchange and managed IT infrastructure solutions provider, Terremark, has reported its results for the quarter ending September 30, 2008, including $59.6 million, representing a 31% year-over-year increase.

Revenues generated during the second quarter were at the high end of previously announced guidance, with more than 91 percent of the $59.6 million in revenues recurring in nature.

Terremark Worldwide, Inc. is a leading operator of integrated Tier-1 Internet exchanges and a global provider of managed IT infrastructure solutions for government and private sectors. Terremark delivers its portfolio of services from seven locations in the U.S., Europe and Latin America and from four service aggregation and distribution locations, which aggregate network traffic and distribute network-based services in Europe and Asia to meet specific customer needs. Terremark's flagship facility, the NAP of the Americas, is the model for the carrier-neutral Internet exchanges the company has in Santa Clara, California (NAP of the Americas/West), in Sao Paulo, Brazil (NAP do Brasil) and in Madrid, Spain (NAP de las Americas - Madrid). The carrier-neutral NAP of the Americas is a state-of-the-art facility that provides exchange point, colocation and managed services. Terremark is headquartered at 2601 S. Bayshore Drive, 9th Floor, Miami, Florida USA, (305) 856-3200.

Manuel D. Medina, Chairman and CEO of Terremark remarked, ''We executed well and reached the high-end of our revenue guidance despite a tough macro-economic environment. Demand for IT infrastructure services, and particularly Terremark's full suite of offerings, remains strong driven by the compelling value proposition we offer to today's CIOs who are under pressure to produce more effectively and efficiently with smaller budgets.''

Jose Segrera, CFO of Terremark commented, ''With a fully funded growth strategy and diverse, blue-chip customer base, we anticipate that our company will continue to produce strong results despite the tough macro-economic environment. Given our strong revenue growth this past quarter, we feel confident that the recurring nature of our business model enhances our ability to continue our strong performance in the coming quarters.''

Mr. Medina added, ''We are excited about the long-term prospects for our business. While our results this quarter were impacted by a strategic process that is now complete, our Company remains ideally positioned to meet the needs of CIOs, as demonstrated by our healthy bookings and pipeline.''

Q209 Financial Highlights include:

Total revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 were $59.6 million, which is in-line with the high-end of previously announced guidance and representing a 31% year-over-year increase.

EBITDA, as adjusted, for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 was $9.9 million, which represents a 27% year-over-year increase. Income from operations for the six months ended September 30, 2008 was $3.5 million. A significant impact on our results of operations and EBITDA, as adjusted, during the September 2008 quarter was related to the evaluation of strategic alternatives by the Company's Board of Directors. This evaluation began in April 2008 upon receipt by the Company of an unsolicited expression of interest regarding a potential acquisition of all the outstanding shares of Company stock at a premium to the then current trading price. The Board of Directors formed a strategic committee to conduct a market check and to authorize and oversee management's preliminary exploratory process to identify transaction alternatives to maximize stockholder value. No definitive transaction with any third party ensued as a result of the process in light of global economic conditions and credit market illiquidity. Therefore, the Board of Directors determined that it was in the shareholders' best interest to continue executing the Company's business plan.

Cross connects billed to customers increased to 7,459 as of September 30, 2008 from 7,232 the previous quarter and 6,119 a year earlier, representing increases of 3% and 22%, respectively. This increase continues to highlight the strong demand for Terremark's network-neutral model.

Sales and Marketing

During the quarter ended September 30, 2008, Terremark added 80 new customers, for a total of 1,068 customers at the end of the period.

Terremark booked $27.6 million of new annual contract value, which represents the fourteenth straight quarter of strong bookings.

Operations

Total built-out colocation space increased to 187,671 as a result of additional space coming online in the NAP of the Capital Region and the NAP of the Americas. The Company is currently deploying customers into the new space and is seeing a robust pipeline for services in both facilities.

Total colocation space utilization was 23.3% as of September 30, 2008 compared to 23.7% as of June 30, 2008. Utilization of built-out colocation space was 55.0% as of September 30, 2008. The utilization rates both decreased due to the activation of additional space in the NAP of the Capital Region and Terremark's facility in Miami.

Following the launch of the Enterprise Cloud in June, Terremark has continued to promote its innovative cloud computing platform. The Company presented at a number of the leading industry conferences and hosted a series of customer webinars, which have resulted in a number of customer contracts.

        Business Outlook

For the third quarter of fiscal 2009, the Company expects revenues to range from $65.0 million to $67.0 million and EBITDA, as adjusted, to range from $15.0 million to $16.0 million.

For the 2009 fiscal year, guidance remains between $255 million to $260 million of revenues and EBITDA, as adjusted, to range between $58 million and $60 million.

Additional information regarding the Company's financial performance as of and for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 and a comparison to the quarter ended September 30, 2007 can be found on the balance sheet and statement of operations and in the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q.

Terremark Worldwide is a leading global provider of IT infrastructure services delivered on the industry's most robust and advanced technology platform. Leveraging data centers in the United States, Europe and Latin America with access to massive and diverse network connectivity, Terremark delivers government and enterprise customers a comprehensive suite of managed solutions including managed hosting, colocation, disaster recovery, security and cloud computing services.
Research and Markets' new report, detailing the future of data center network equipment, describes how related vulnerabilities and regulatory requirements can be engaged to ensure availability of data.

Dublin, Ireland - (The Hosting News) - November 14, 2008 - Research and Markets' new report, detailing the future of data center network equipment, describes how related vulnerabilities and regulatory requirements can be engaged to ensure availability of data.

''Data Center Network Equipment and Data Center Automation Solutions Market 2007-2010 - Bundled Report'' includes information on how the increase in web hosting services and other web services has significantly driven the sales of Data Center Network Equipment. Further, there are many industry specific needs such as digital imaging, Picture Archive Systems (PACS) in multimedia companies, which drive the sales for efficient Data Center Network Equipment.

Secondly, the adoption of data center automation solutions is becoming increasingly critical for IT departments, driven by the need for high availability, need to reduce management costs, need to improve regulatory compliance, increasing technology consumption, adoption of virtualization etc. In addition, exponential growth in number of servers, storage devices and network equipment has significantly increased the infrastructure complexity. Further, while the price of servers has declined by over 50 percent in the last decade, the cost of managing a server over its lifetime has increased significantly. Currently, most organizations either manually administer their servers or use stand-alone solutions, which are incapable of managing its entire data center portfolio. However, with the rapid increase in cost and complexity of managing data centers, the adoption of data center automation solutions is expected to increase significantly over the period 2008-2010. Open source and policy-based form factors of data center automation solutions are expected to gain momentum in the market. In addition, server automation and configuration and change management are expected to account for a significant share of the DCA market.

This is a bundle of two technology market assessment reports: Data Center Network Equipment Market 2007-2010; and Data Center Automation Solutions Market 2007-2010. Bundled reports are available at an attractive discount over the individual reports.

Justin Scott, technical assurance specialist with SoftLayer remarked, ''Our customers entrust their important data and servers with our on-demand data center and web hosting services. We cannot afford to lose data. i365's flexible recovery solutions, such as EVault Real-Time Protection, give us near continuous backups of mission critical systems while providing fast, flexible and comprehensive restores without disrupting our existing EVault Software nightly backup.''

The solutions address different needs for file, application, server and site recovery, and offer customers the choice of attached, virtual, onsite or remote solutions with the flexibility to choose software, Software as a Service (SaaS) or a managed service deployment.

Valerie Fawzi, senior director of product marketing at i365, A Seagate Company commented, ''All data is important, but from an operational efficiency standpoint we know that there is some data that is more mission-critical and requires immediate recovery. SMBs are looking for differentiated levels of recovery management solutions with the flexibility to choose between software, SaaS or a managed service. With the expansion of the EVault Data Protection portfolio customers can meet their recovery objectives with a portfolio of integrated recovery solutions that reduce costs, increase efficiencies and give them confidence in the event of a disaster.''
