Medialayer : Excellent support
Given Rating:

I read tons of great reviews about their support and didn’t think much of it, but now I have to say that these guys simply ROCK!
They answered each one of my requests in less then 5 minutes and solved each one of them as fast as possible.
I highly recommend them to everyone
SurpassHosting after 2 months
Given Rating:

I was with SurpassHosting for a total of two months, before upgrading to a dedicated server with another provider. Their support was their weakest point, uptime over the months was 100%, and my websites loaded very quickly, above average from experience. I did need to submit a couple of support tickets about nameservers and so on, and, although I had caused the problems, they took a long time (12-18hrs) to respond. Apart from that, excellent hosting!
Oh, the prices are also great, oversold of course but still you can use a lot of your allocated disk space and bandwidth.
Site 5 after 2.5 years
Given Rating:

I first found out about Site5.com exactly 2 1/2 years ago on the WHT Forums. I remember reading all kinds of things about the quality of the host. I don’t recall reading too many negative things. The hosting was great for the first year and a half. Support usually replied within the hour. Then I noticed my sites down more often than usual.
Yesterday I sent in a support ticket and I have yet to receive a response. It’s now been 17 hours, and not even “we’re looking into it”. So, I did some research on Site5 on here and other places to find out that Site5.com has went down hill. Once a quality host is now just another ordinary “host”. Just a look at their forums you can see how many problems their customers run into.
All I have to say is, if you’re in the market for a web server host, I’d stay away. If you’re already a customer of Site5 you may want to check the actual downtime your server has from month to month, and when you really need their tech support, they just may not respond..
Globat: beware!
Given Rating:

This is by far the worst host I have ever dealt with. They mislead you on the plan options and up-time is a joke, support is very lacking in the aspect of every single time I have called they can not fix the issue and have to escalate it to their senior support staff and it takes a long time to fix. They have the worst control panel limiting the client to not being able to add on domains and I have never been able to get a sql backup to take forcing me to have to work one table at a time. Speed leaves a lot to be wanted, I can serve faster from my house than I can from their server.
They do offer a lot of space and bandwidth but it does you no good if all you have is trouble with the server.
Do yourself a favor and search the web you will find a lot of others unhappy with the service.
The old adage you get what you pay for carries a lot of weight at globat.
Sad part of my story is I realized it to late and even though I moved I didnt do it fast enough to get a refund.
BUYER BEWARE!
Steadfast: never been happier

I’ve been with them for about a month now and I’m fairly satisfied with their services. I can see myself staying with them for a long time.
Support is excellent. H-Sphere is not as bad as I thought it would be. The price is definitely “perfection”.
I think their shared hosting packages are enough for most people and the price suits what they offer.
I trust them with my website and I’ve never been happier!
iHubNet: perfect!
Given Rating:

I have been with ihubnet for 5 months now and have rated is a pretty good.
Overall I would say they are better than the majority of server providers and their pricing is great.
Support was also great until the last few months where they kept giving me the runaround regarding the network issues I was having which was minor issue and it’s all fixed and fine now!
Now I am using the plan of Hub1, It gives me 1GB of web space, 10GB of bandwidth and many features, just $5.95 per month which is perfect for me.
iHubNet review
Given Rating:

I have been using iHubnet’s hosting services for my domain DeruSpa.com now for over 2 months and the speed of service and uptime have been absolutely great. Loading times and page browsing on our site have been far above average, and the skill and response from the iHubNet support team when I have needed questions answered have been responded to promptly and they have never stopped helping until my issue was solved! Great honest service at a price that is very affordable. I would strongly suggest iHubnet’s hosting services for anyone that needs very straight forward, ease of mind hosting.
Hostgator: amazing!

Amazed about the capabilities of these guys, not only the support is incredible to the point of actually tweaking your website (Drupal based) and upgrading stuff but the answers have been spot on.
I love the features they provide although i wish they had a slightly better domain manager like the one you find on other host providers but that is all i can think of, everything else has been superb and the privacy and security are excellent.
These guys do not ask you for your own password via emails like other people do, they don’t ask you for your credit card via email like others do.
I feel i am going to stay quite a bit here.
Hostgator review: perfect until now

I am with HostGator Since December 2007 and all was absolutely perfect until three days ago when we lost access to our cpanel, FTP and outgoing email. Access was intermittent and when successful, very slow and unreliable. The websites were up and running without problems however. FTP access to other servers (not on HG) was without problems.
The online support initially sent us to the ISP. That was strange since it was clear that it was not a DNS problem (HG hosted websites were operating just fine, remember?)
ISP tested their connection and could not access /cpanel either. They also completed a full trace and they resolved all our HG-hosted sites without any problem.
Back to HG - their senior admins examined the situation and after a lot of discussions they traced the problem to the servers and announced that they fixed it.
That worked for two days. Now the problem occurred again.
Current status is that we are without any possibility to update the website or FTP files. We also cannot manage the site via cpanel. At least the website is still up.
For me, HG reliability is at the very bottom.
